Organ System/Disease Focus
Vocal fold tissue repair/regeneration
Aligned Research Focus
Role of migrating progenitor cells in tissue repair. Characterization and function of tissue resident side population cells. Systems biology/proteomics.
Research Description
Our SCRMC aligned work focuses on fibrocyte migration and differentiation at vocal fold wound sites, and understanding the function of vocal fold side population cells.
